Description
Three short movements introduce young concert band students to Gustav Holst's masterwork through accessible, impactful adaptations of Mars, Saturn and Jupiter. The energy and character of the originals are preserved, even with the simplified 3/4 meter for Mars to make it accessible to young students. The compact length supports a strong introduction to multimovement works at the elementary level. This is a thoughtful way to experience cornerstone repertoire while building confidence, style, and listening skills in concert programming.
