Description
Here's a medley of hits from the animated film Smallfoot featuring "This Is My World" composed by Heitor Pereiera along with "Wonderful Life," and "Perfection," both with words and music by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick---that is sure to challenge your string orchestra. The catchy melodies and intricate rhythms are shared by all sections, and, as wonderfully arranged by Andrew H. Dabczynski, can be enhanced by optional percussion and piano. While optional, these parts will contribute tremendously to the rock texture, rhythmic drive, and overall effect of the piece. The optional percussion parts are constructed simply enough so that "doubling" players conceivably can be drawn from the string sections. Your audiences will find themselves tapping their own smallfeet along with the orchestra!
