The entire band becomes a percussion instrument in Primal by Todd Stalter. This programmatic work portrays the instinctive and primitive human drive to gather together for ceremony, celebration, or survival. The ensemble will unite to transport the audience to ancient millennia via the music's bold melodic and harmonic statements and thunderous hypnotic rhythmic action. (3:30)
