This medley of folksongs was written to depict the Appalachian region of the country and its heritage of bluegrass music. You will hear hints of Irish music, as many of the folksongs from this area were developed by the Irish immigrants who settled this part of the country. Titles include: Cluck Old Hen; Sourwood Mountain and Poor Polly.
