Description
This whimsical and spirited work was inspired by the painting Skating in Central Park by American artist Agnes Tait. Depicting the park in late afternoon, carefree skaters and sledders enjoy their winter activities against the backdrop of the Manhattan skyline. This work evokes that magical feeling, wistful nostalgia, and holiday cheer that begins with the first glimpse of white snow and icicles hanging from the window in the cold morning. An original tone poem that's sure to become a yearly staple in your winter concerts.
