Inspired by the legendary phoenix, Firebirds blends Randall Standridge's original material with themes from Stravinsky's Firebird, creating a powerful and accessible new chapter in The unBroken Project. Exploring themes of rebirth, resilience, and renewal, this work offers a musical reflection on overcoming adversity. Powerful rhythms, colorful harmonies, active percussion, and soaring melodies combine as the music builds toward an uplifting and triumphant conclusion. Firebirds provides an excellent opportunity to introduce young musicians to Stravinsky while delivering an emotionally impactful performance.
