When you use "Strictly Strings" with your beginning string classes, your students will be playing real orchestra music in about four months! They'll be playing music in three-part harmony, with enthusiasm and expression, and, with all four instruments playing on all four strings. This method utilizes a unique letter-note style of music notation that ensures a smooth transition from rote learning to note reading. Your students will develop a strong understanding of pitch and pulse and will quickly progress to staff notation. "Strictly Strings" includes over 60 rich and varied musical selections: folks songs, famous classical melodies, symphonic themes and original compositions. In addition, there are seven string orchestra arrangements strategically positioned throughout the book to give your students full ensemble experience.
