Description
The myth of the thunderstone has been part of many world cultures for thousands of years. What is a thunderstone? It is believed to be a stone forged by lightning, giving the stone mystical and magical powers.Typically, these stones were arrowheads and tool fragments found by later societies who believed they contained healing and protection properties, including treating warts! Popular culture has adopted the concept of thunderstone and incorporated it into a popular video game. In this composition, students musically depict the creation of a thunderstone with loud E-string lightning strikes.
